A Little About My Paintings…
I have always loved to paint and draw, even when I was little. In fact my most treasured possession aged 7 was my Tony Hart felt tip pens. I usually prefer to work with acrylics for their vibrant colours and quick drying properties. I love colour, nothing makes me happier, but if I had to pick a favourite it would be yellow closely followed by green. I find the landscape around me with it’s huge variety of colours and shapes so inspiring but the places I like to paint the most are the Highlands of Scotland or the city of Bristol. In addition to the countryside I am also fascinated by the human face and enjoy painting portraits. I hope that you enjoy having a look at my work.

Crafts
As a trained scenic artist painting scenery for theatre, TV and film, the technique I most enjoy doing is creating fake marble because it is so intricate and expressive. I enjoy it so much that I have introduced it into my own work painting stylised faux marble coasters, vases and hearts. I also have another range of decorated vases and tea light holders all of which make great small gifts.
These items can be painted to order. Please note that colours and patterns may differ slightly from the examples shown due to the organic nature of the process. As a result, each piece will be totally unique. All items are ceramic, not made by myself, and painted with high quality ceramic or glass paint which after I have baked them becomes waterproof.
